Performance Floors & Coating warrants against delamination of our concrete coating systems for 15 years from the date of original installation.

15-Year Coverage Against Delamination Performance Floors & Coating warrants against delamination of our concrete coating systems for 15 years from the date of original installation.

What This Warranty Covers

Performance Floors & Coating warrants that our concrete coating systems will not delaminate from a properly prepared and installed surface for 15 years from the date of original installation.

Coverage is limited to delamination only. This warranty does not cover cracking, discoloration, UV fading, or any other condition not expressly listed above. Replacement is limited to the cost of materials required to repair or replace the delaminated area, at the sole discretion of Performance Floors & Coating (excluding shipping, taxes, and/or tariffs).

Labor coverage: Labor costs for inspection, testing, or repair are covered under this warranty only if the failure is determined to be covered by this warranty. Labor is not covered for issues that fall outside the scope of warranty coverage.

Important: A PF&C representative or authorized installer must be present to assess the failed area and determine the cause of failure prior to any repairs being made.

What Is NOT Covered

The following are explicitly excluded from this warranty. No claim will be accepted for any of the conditions listed below.

  • Cracks — any cracking of the coating or substrate
  • UV exposure — yellowing, fading, or color change
  • Chipping or impact damage — from tools, equipment, or dropped objects
  • Hydrostatic pressure — moisture migration from below the slab
  • Chemical or corrosive damage — from liquids, solvents, or cleaners
  • Animal damage — chewing, clawing, or waste
  • Extreme heat — exposure over 250°F
  • Fire or smoke damage
  • Abuse or intentional damage
  • Alterations by others — any work not performed by PF&C

This warranty also does not apply where failure results from improper substrate preparation, including surfaces that were not mechanically ground to remove previous coatings, sealers, oils, curing compounds, or other adhesion barriers. The substrate must have a minimum 50–100 grit profile, a neutral pH of 7, and moisture vapor transmission not exceeding 3 lbs.

Unapproved products void this warranty: Use of unapproved solvents, thinners, or application over existing coatings not approved in writing by Performance Floors & Coating will void this warranty entirely.

Warranty Conditions

This warranty applies to the coating at its original place of installation only. The warranty will be void if the materials are installed in violation of applicable local codes or ordinances, or in a situation not intended for product use.

Residential applications only. This warranty applies exclusively to residential floor installations. It does not apply to commercial applications, salt-water applications, bathroom showers or tubs, or decks or pressure-treated lumber applications.

Authorized installer required. This warranty is only valid where the coating was applied by an authorized PF&C installer in accordance with standard PF&C product specifications and application procedures. Any alterations, additions, or repairs made by parties other than PF&C — except emergency repairs — will void this warranty.
